Welcome to 'von der Krebener Jagd' Kennel!

We are a small family (Thomas, Ana and Betsy) which loves the outdoors and spends any spare time hunting and fishing. 

We live in Olanta, South Carolina, which is located 15 minutes south of Florence and about 2 hrs north of Charleston. We do most of our hunting in North and South Carolina and we enjoy fishing off the coast of McClellanville.

The name of our kennel is dedicated to Frank and Steffi Wagner and the rest of our friends abroad. Kreben is the town in Germany where Betsy completed the Vbr during an unforgettable hare hunt.  This unique opportunity was available to us thanks to our  good friends Frank and Steffi Wagner and Frank's parents, Dora and Adolf Wagner.   We are eternally grateful for their hospitality and great lessons on dog training.  We are also thankful to Hans and Lore Geyer, who welcomed us to Germany, too, and cared for Betsy during a short absence.  Frank and Steffi are very active in the VDD club in Germany and currently own a male DD called Paul.
